I had the fight of my life, overcoming breast cancer as a young mom in my mid-thirties. After surviving that experience, I committed myself to becoming a Life Coach. I know that I have been put on this planet to live a life filled with purpose, passion and creative fire and seek to ignite that spark in everyone I meet.
I draw wisdom and inspiration from 10+ years of service managing a wellness center in Woodstock, NY and working at Omega Institute where I learned about many different healing modalities and wisdom traditions. I completed my coaching training through the internationally recognized Coaches Training Institute and have trained in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). I hold a ACC certification through the International Coach Federation.
As a coach, I rely on my gentle and grounded intuitive nature, along with a good dose of directness and humor. With supported inquiry, body centered improvisational games and EFT in my tool kit, I help my clients release limitation and bring new focus and energy into their lives.
I have served as a Life Coach at Omega Institute and work with clients in my private practice offering sessions in person, as well as via phone and skype for clients who live further away. You can learn more about my work as a coach at www.MelissaEppardCoaching.com
I blogged intimately about my experience of healing from breast cancer and have shared my stories with large audiences at Story Slam events, in Conquer Magazine and as a guest blogger for the Young Survival Coalition.
I live in the beautiful Hudson Valley, NY area with my son and talented musician husband. I derive inspiration and energy from various spiritual wisdom traditions, gardening, hiking, poetry, art, music and my family. In my spare time, I write, blog, paint and donate my time mentoring other cancer survivors.
